Week 1: God is On the Move & God Calls us to Move with Him
(Genesis 1:1-8, 12:1-9)
God is on the move from the beginning. The work of creating begins with God in the book of Genesis. The Spirit of God swept over the waters and spoke creation into existence. By chapter 12 of Genesis, God has called people to move with him. Sometimes movement can be uncomfortable and sometimes we don’t know exactly where God is leading us. Faith requires that we face obstacles and the unknown, trusting in the plan of God.
