Be a Playful Church - traditional service

May is Mental Health Awareness month, and Absecon UMC has some powerful observances planned for that. We begin with a message on being a playful church. Have you been stressed? Depressed? Worrying? Overwhelmed? Then it's time to play! Play isn't juvenile or uncivilized. Play is an important part of who we are as human beings; it is part of how we were created by God. Our mental health improves when we play. Our mood improves when we play. When we play, we become more like God; joyfully experiencing the incredible things God has made. This Sunday, let's learn how to be a playful church.
