The second lesson of this year's VBS came from the Book of Exodus. The Israelites had been enslaved in Egypt, and God delivered them to freedom! But leaving Egypt was just the beginning of the journey. They knew where they wouldn't be living anymore. But where will they go? And how long will it take to get there? Well, longer than expected because they ran into a detour. Annoying, right? Well, sometimes what's annoying can also be life saving! This week, we will discuss how God is with us in the detours of life.
