Be Transformational - contemporary service

The mission statement of the United Methodist Church is "making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world". That sounds like a big job, doesn't it? Transforming the world. It would be an impossible job, if we didn't have the Spirit's help. It would be an impossible job if we didn't have the whole church community to do it with. But because of the Holy Spirit working within us, and because of our efforts to work together for Christ, we can make progress in our mission statement! This Sunday, let's discuss what transformation looks like, and how God uses our own transformation to transform others.
