Freedom's Flame and Fireside Calling

Series: Fanning the Flames-Putting another long on the Spirit Fire: This is a three-week series that traces Absecon UMC’s spiritual DNA from its founding at a bonfire revival led by Francis Asbury in 1796 through to today, and the flame of God’s spirit to be kindled in you.

Scripture: John 21:1-11

Together, we’ll explore Jesus meeting Peter and the other disciples on a beach, after a night of poor fishing. The encounter will help us move from expectations to looking expectantly for Jesus on the move in our lives AND learning to “fish from the other side of the boat”. Finally, we’ll learn to listen for Jesus’ invitation to each of us.
